What department are you a graduate student in?

I’m in the political science department, but I’m a MAAPP Alum.

Why did you decide to go to graduate school?

As someone who enjoys learning, I decided to continue my education. I stumbled into the political science program by chance!

Did your interests change throughout your program? 

I’ve retained a wide array of interests, and perform various research under advisors and on my own. My focus has shifted based on what I’ve been approved to research.

What do you want to do with your advanced degree?

I would love to teach! Giving students a realistic discussion about politics, sharing meaningful information that impacts them every day, and helping them see other political perspectives is incredibly rewarding.
