What department are you a graduate student in?  

I am a graduate student in the International Affairs department.

Why did you decide to go to graduate school?

 I decided to go to graduate school to further my education and figure out what I wanted to do with my life while I transitioned out of the Army.

Did your interests change throughout your program? 

So far, my interests haven’t changed or shifted too much. I’ve continued to focus on intelligence policy and terrorism.

What do you want to do with your advanced degree?

The plan is to seek employment with the Department of State as a Security Officer, then transition into the foreign service after a couple of years of learning the ropes. I am going to stay flexible however and keep an open mind about what jobs I want to do, and which are going to be available when I graduate.
