What is your major and why did you choose it?

I am currently pursuing a dual degree in Psychology and Public Health. I chose these majors because of my interest in mental health. I see psychology and public health as related since mental health would also be a public health issue. So, I felt like these subject areas would match well together.

What do you want to do with your major after graduation?

Presently, I am considering getting a Master’s in Psychology when I am done with undergrad. Hopefully, I can enter the mental healthcare or psychology research field.

What is your favorite thing about being a COSSPP student?

My favorite thing about being a COSSPP student is learning about how social issues are intertwined and how they impact present society. Many social problems go overlooked and their impacts on different fields can be underestimated. Constant knowledge and education about these issues are important.
