Undergraduate Spotlight: Delylah Rodriguez from the Department of Interdisciplinary Social Sciences

What is your major and why did you choose it?

The major I chose was interdisciplinary social sciences. I chose this major because I knew it would offer me a lot of flexibility in what classes I would be taking. This was a very important aspect for me as I am a very indecisive person and I new being able to explore different concentrations would be beneficial for me in the long run.

What do you want to do with your major after graduation?

After graduation I intend to apply to and go to law school. I knew that the major I chose would be good for taking a lot of pre-look classes that would prepare me for law school since I chose lawn society as my concentration. I also do not know what type of log wanna go into so having the flexibility to learn about other areas in this field of study was very important to me.

What is your favorite thing about being a COSSPP student?

My favorite part of being a COSSPP Student is that I get to explore many classes and learn about society in ways I never thought I could. I am also able to explore different concentrations in one field of study. I also like how I can use my area of expertise in many different career paths even if I choose not to go to law school.

Delylah Rodriquez  is a COSSPP student majoring in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences.
