What is your major and why did you choose it?
My major is Political Science and I have a minor in Religion. I chose to do Political Science due to the fact that I hope to go to law school after I do my undergrad. I have always been fascinated with government practice and public policy. Therefore, I wanted to major in something that would help me grow in these fields.
What do you want to do with your major after graduation?
After graduation I hope to journey to law school. I’d like to stay in Florida if I can so I’m able to stay relatively close to my family. I am looking into justice reform as the exact branch of law I want to practice. I also might take a gap year to travel before I start up with a few more years of school.
What is your favorite thing about being a COSSPP student?
My favorite thing about being a COSSPP student is the freedom. I love the Political Science classes I get to take but I also love the number of electives this major also provides. This is how I found my way into my minor in Religion. I like that I don’t always have to do just government-based classes if I don’t want to.
