What is your major and why did you choose it?
My major is Political Science with a minor in Sociology. I chose this major because I was super interested in the possibility of eventually attending law school post-graduation. This major seemed like a great way to have a base foundation that would best prepare me for law school. I also chose this major apart from any other because it was something I thought I’d excel in due to the fact politics has always been extremely interesting and important to me.
What do you want to do with your major after graduation?
After graduation I did want to get into the work life for a bit before attending law school. Ideally I’d love to go to a bigger city like Washington DC, NYC, Boston, etc. and have a job working for governmental offices. I am also super interested in lobbyist jobs in DC and have a slew of companies in mind that seem very appealing to me and I love they’re causes for lobbying.
What is your favorite thing about being a COSSPP student?
My favorite thing about being a COSSPP student is the opportunity. Opportunity for class options, internships, extracurricular help, etc. FSU has an amazing college for the social science majors and give us so many opportunities to maximize our experience and education here. I absolutely love the class selections for my major, media and politics was great…U.S. Intelligence Policy was great as well. The selection is superb and so interesting beyond standard intro classes. All the professors are so knowledgeable and helpful — and extremely helpful with opportunities.
